Oil City Native and Sarnia Saint RFC member Stephen Young made his International Debut yesterday in a match
between Canada and Argentina. The match was held in Chatham, ON and was played in front of 1,130 fans at Chatham Athletic
Complex in a rare Wednesday tilt. The South Americans scored a 42-16 victory over the Selects to wrap up a
three game tour of North America, that included wins over USA and British Columbia Bears to take the 2009 Americas Rugby Championship.
Young, an LCCVI graduate entered the game at the Sixty-Third minute at the Hooker position. Young's rugby resume
has been filled with tremendous experiences as of late. He has been playing for the Niagara Thunder of the Rugby Canada Super
League, Team Ontario and is currently negotiating a contract with a Professional club in France. Young becomes the
latest Sarnia Saints member to play for Canada. Both, Jamie and Brian Collins have recently played for Team Canada on the
International Rugby Board's Sevens Circuit.
